MEASURE/INSTALL QUESTIONS:
How to measure for doors?
Single doors:
If you have selected 1⁄2” overlay. Doors will require a 1⁄2” overlay on all 4 sides so for a single door. If your opening is 10”w x 10”h, the door size would be 11” w x 11” h.
Double doors:
First determine your overlay. If you choose a 1⁄2” overlay along the perimeter of the opening, and a 1/8" reveal between your doors. If your opening is 30”w x 30”h, the door sizes would be (2) 15 7/16” w x 31” h.
What is the difference between measuring options?
Door Measurements:
Choose this option if you already know the exact door
measurements you need.
Cabinet Opening:
Choose this option if you do not know your door measurements. Just measure the opening of the cabinet from the inside of the frame to the adjacent inside of the frame, and enter those dimensions. When you choose your overlay our unique calculator will determine the size of the door for you. You can view the final door dimensions within the product page prior to adding it to your cart.
How to measure for lazy suzan/corner cabinet doors?
Measure from the inside edge of the cabinet frame to the corner.
Add Overlay size to your width.
Subtract the thickness of the new door from width measurement(most doors will
be 3/4" thick, unless otherwise indicated on the doors page). This will ensure
each door has enough room to fit properly.
Repeat these steps for the other door.
Select Corner Cabinet Boring for 1 door, do NOT bore the second door.

How do I place an order for a door?
1. Select door or drawer front style
2. Select Material
3. Choose an option for measuring
4. Choose Overlay
5. Input dimensions
6. Select boring and hinge options (if needed)
7. Add each door to your cart
8. Double check dimensions

What if the measured Drawer Front size is smaller than the minimum?
You have the option to select a Squaw/Plank drawer front with an edge that will match your doors. If you need help specifying the edge of any door send an email to support@cabinetmule.com
How thick are your doors?
Most of the doors are 3/4" thick (which is industry standard), but some custom doors can be 7/8" thick.
What is a Large Door Handling fee?
A $75 Fee will be applied to doors that measure 50" to 59 15/16" and $150 to all doors 60" and over. This is due to the extra handling that is required.
When will a center rail be required for Large doors?
This is determined on a per door basis and depends on the height of the doors.
Typically center rails are placed on doors over 50", and 66" for Cut for Glass doors.

Are the doors and drawer fronts solid wood?
- All frames are solid wood.
- Raised panel doors have a solid wood panel.
- Inset panel doors have a solid wood frame with solid plywood panel, or an MDF panel depending on material selected.
- Paint grade doors have a solid wood frame with an MDF panel.
- RTF doors are made from a mdf(multi-density fiberboard or partical board, wrapped in a durable hard vinyl film.
Do the cut for glass doors come with glass?
Doors cut for Glass will not come with any glass. We recommend taking your doors to a local glass shop to be fitted for glass.
What are RTF Doors?
• Rigid Thermal Foil (RTF) doors are made of a durable vinyl that is laid over Medium Density Fiberboard(MDF).
Are your products made in the USA?
Yes! All doors are made in California and North Carolina.

Hinge and boring questions:
How many hinges will my door need?
There will be 2 bore holes on the top and bottom of the door. The holes are 3" from the top and bottom. If you order a large door (40" or larger), that door will have a 3rd bore hole in the middle for added support and adjustability.

What will shipping cost be?
Please fill out an order and enter a shipping address. This will give you a shipping cost. All hardware receives free shipping, and all orders over $1,500.
How can I view my order?
To view your order, log in to your account.
Can I cancel an order?
CabinetMule.com processes orders immediately and production starts within the same day. Orders can be cancelled within 1 business day for a 15% charge. Anytime after 1 business day orders cannot be cancelled.
Does Cabinet Mule accept returns?
No, because all of the doors, drawer fronts and drawer boxes are custom made. We do not carry inventory. We offer returns on hardware on a case by case basis. Please contact our support team at support@cabinetmule.com.
